Kozhikode, May 1: With the much-awaited Prime Volleyball League (PVL) season 4 on the horizon, excitement is building as player registrations officially opened on Thursday and the auction is set for June 8 in Kozhikode. All eyes will be on season 3 MVP Jerome Vinith, who is expected to draw major bids.

Ahead of the auction, each franchise was allowed to retain up to three players, setting the stage for strategic squad building. Defending champions Calicut Heroes have locked in Vikas Maan and Ashok Bishnoi, while teams like Bengaluru Torpedoes and Delhi Toofans have kept strong cores with key attackers and defensive players.

A total of 20 players have been retained, including Kochi Blue Spikers’ Erin Varghese and Chennai Blitz’s Dhilip Kumar. The Kolkata Thunder Bolts have repositioned star Ashwal Rai as a universal, showcasing fresh strategies ahead of the new season.

With fierce bidding expected and top talents in the fray, PVL season 4 promises high-octane action and renewed rivalries on the court.
