Udupi, Nov 7: The cluster level Prathiba Karanaji 2023-24 was held at Maryknoll High School, Barkur.

The prestigious gathering was graced by the presence of Shantharama Shetty, the vice president of Barkur gram panchayat, who presided over the event. It commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a benediction by Fr Ronald Miranda, the parish priest of St Peter Church Barkur, who also took on the role of the event's guest of honour.

The occasion was further dignified by the presence of distinguished guests, including  Uma P, the in-charge Block Education Officer (BEO) of Brahmavar,  Prakash B B, the education coordinator,  Raghav Shetty, the SSLC nodal officer,  Joseph Fernandes, the vice president of the parish council of St Peter Church Barkur,  Savitha Umesh Barkur, a cluster resource person,  Murthy Rao, the head master of BMM High School Kurady, Shamsunder Shetty, the head master of Govt Higher Primary School Hosala, and  Srinivas Poojary, the vice president of the parent teachers association.

The event was inaugurated with a warm welcome by head mistress Sr Jasmitha Crasta, and the proceedings were executed flawlessly by Swarnalatha G, serving as the master of ceremonies, while Ramananda Rao delivered the vote of thanks.

The 2023-24 Prathibha Karanji competition, ‘Fountains of Talents,’ was a vibrant testament to the exceptional abilities of the students, with participants showcasing their remarkable talents, and the event serving as a platform for recognition and applause. It brought together a diverse and esteemed audience of individuals committed to nurturing and celebrating the potential of young minds in Barkur.
