Mangaluru, Nov 6: Srinivas University Institute of Engineering and Technology celebrated ‘Suvarna Karnataka Rajyotsav’ at Mukka campus on November 4.

The chief guest of the programme, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, immediate past president of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishad inaugurated the programme and said, “One should not forget what is just in learning, one should help the development of the nation through educational development with education. If the agricultural practice is preserved, the sage culture will survive.” He also said, “One’s service to the state is the nation's wealth with one’s own industry.”

Agari Raghavendra Rao, the owner of Agari Enterprises said, “Work is going on to illuminate the language in ‘Swaccha Kannada’ through Yakshagana. I have seen the light of the Kannada revolution today in Srinivas University."

SUIET dean Dr Thomas Pinto and student officials were present.
