Mangalore, Aug 18: Chairman and managing director of public sector Indian Overseas Bank, M Narendra, will be in Dakshina Kannada district from August 18 to 21, to take part in various programmes.
He is scheduled to inaugurate the infrastructure development project of Mangalore University, at a function being held at 4.30 pm at Mangala Gangotri here on Thursday August 18.
He will inaugurate the Liquefied Oxygen Supply Project of the government Wenlock Hospital here at 4 pm on Friday. On Saturday, he will inaugurate the bank’s ATM in Subrahmanya at 10.30 am, and distribute cards to the students of Expert PU College in the city at 5.30 pm the same evening. At 7.30 pm on Saturday, he will take part in a meeting of jewellers.
He will take part in the diamond jubilee programme of the local airport at 9.30 am on Sunday. At 1.30 pm that day, he will take part in a function being organised at Kulai Chitrapur for disbursement of loans under the Kissan, Month, and Sagaralakshmi schemes of the bank, a release from Indian Overseas Bank said.
