Mangaluru, May 12: The students of second-year Srinivas University's Computer Science & Engineering, developed a project based on IoT Technology. This system automatically switches on and off the street light using IR sensors based on time and weather conditions. It also monitors and set up the intensity of street lights by detecting the object and saves the power consumption.
The objectives of this project are to save power consumption by street lights and to design an independent system to detect an object using IR sensors based on time and weather conditions. And developing IOT based autonomous system to monitor and set the intensity of street light using Blynk app.
The following Core Components required and used to develop this Project are:
Arduino Uno
IR Sensors
LED
LDR
Resistors used 3K3,1K
Bread Board
Jumper Wires
This project Minimized Power Consumption, and easier to Monitor and Setting up of Intensity of Street Light and Detects an Object using Sensors based on Time and Weather conditions.
The second-year computer science and engineering students Nikhil C N, Akarsha P, Bipin T P and Gagan N Salian developed under the guidance of professor J.Venkata Krishna of CSE department, Srinivas University Institute of Engineering and Technology of Srinivas University, Mangaluru.
