Mangaluru: IAP organized by GFGC Kavoor in collaboration with MUCTA

Mangaluru, May 2: GFGC Kavoor in collaboration with Mangalore University Commerce Teachers Association - MUCTA® organized an Investor Awareness Programme for all its students on May 2.

The inaugural of the programme was graced by Sudha Prahlad, member, college development committee and entrepreneur as the chief guest. Dr Shivarama P, principal, GFGC Kavoor presided, Krithika of II BCom welcomed the gathering, Prof Manoj Louis, IQAC coordinator gave a prelude and the vote of thanks was delivered by Deepthi of I BCom.

The inaugural programme was eloquently compered by Sanjota of III BCom. Dr Geetha M L, HoD of Commerce and management and Prof Jyothi Shetty S, IQAC Co-Coordinator were present on the dais.

During the day, they have had three sessions by eminent resource persons:

1. Financial Literacy by Naveen Rego, SEBI Registered, Certified Financial Planner. He was introduced and welcomed by Mohd Nihan of III BCom.

2. Back to Basics by Leo Amal A. senor branch manager, Mangalore Branch of Franklin Templeton Asset Pvt Ltd. Mr Leo was introduced and welcomed by Anusha of II BA.

3. Hands on Investment Training by Elston Menezes, Investment Services Professional, Mangalore. He was introduced and welcomed by Megha of II BCom.

Overall 95 staff and students were enriched by the content and delivery of the presentation by these speakers.
