Mangaluru, Apr 23: The festival Eid-ul-Fitr marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan was celebrated at Expert P U College Valachil here. Professor Narendra L Nayak, chairman, Expert Group of Institutions presided over the function. He also extended the greetings of Eid to the students and faculty and hoped that such festivals strengthen the social harmony and brotherhood.

Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice chairperson, Expert Group of Institutions inaugurated the festivities and wished everyone a peaceful and joyous EidulFitr.

Ankush N Nayak, IT director, Expert Group of Institutions and Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, principal of the college also took part in the festivities and conveyed their greetings to the students and staff.

Raghavendra Shenoy, vice principal (administration) Subrahmanya Udupa, vice principal (academics), Gurudatta N and members of the staff were also present on the occasion.

Thanvi welcomed the gathering, compered the programme and proposed a vote of thanks.

A festive meal was served to all at the end of the programme.
