Mangaluru: Fifth annual convocation, talents day to be held at Srinivas University Campus, Surathkal

Mangaluru, Apr 17: Fifth annual convocation of Srinivas University will take place on Thursday, April 20 at Srinivas University Campus, Mukka, Surathkal.

The degree of doctor of letters will be conferred to Sri Vidyaprasanna Teertha Swamiji, Pontiff of the Kukke Subramanya Math and M S Mahabaleshwar, former managing director & chief executive officer, Karnataka Bank Ltd.


Dr M K Ramesh, vice chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka will be the day’s chief guest.

College day of Srinivas University & Srinivas Group of Institutions was held at 9.30 am on Tuesday, April  18 at Srinivas University Campus, Mukka, Surathkal.

Talents Day of Srinivas University & Srinivas Group of Institutions was organized at 9.30 am on April 19 at Srinivas University Campus, Mukka, Surathkal.

Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University and president of A Shama Rao Foundation Mangaluru will be presiding over the programme.

Over 1050 students comprising 794 UG students and 256 PG students will be awarded the degree. The 125 ranks including 33 gold medals, 12 PhD, 3 DSc, and 2 DLitt degrees will be awarded in the convocation.

Dr P S Aithal, vice chancellor, Dr Anil Kumar, registrar, Dr Srinivas Mayya, registrar – evaluation and Dr Ajay Kumar registrar - development were present for the press conference.
