Sports Linked With Pakistan's Image Abroad: Gilani

Islamabad, June 21 (IANS) Sports is important for the projection of a soft image of Pakistan abroad, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said.

Gilani Monday said that the promotion of sports activities would help the youth develop tolerance as well as a sense of fair competition, Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

He directed the sports ministry to review the entire structure of Pakistan Sports Board in consultation with stakeholders.

The ministry has studied the sports management systems of Australia, China and other leading sports countries of the world.
