Puttur: Bridge course inaugural programme held at St Philomena PU College

Puttur, Mar 11: The Career Guidance Cell of St Philomena PU College organized the inaugural programme of Bridge Course on March 10.

The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries.

The president, Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, principal, St Philomena P U College, Puttur in his presidential remarks said, "An idle mind is a devil's workshop." He compared the mind of a student to liquid which flows in all the directions and guided the students to store that liquid in a container and not let it flow in all the directions inorder to have a bright future. He advised the students not to run behind money because money does not buy happiness.

The chief guest, Fr Stany Pinto, campus director, St Philomena Institutions advised students to make the best use of time and study well. He motivated students to take guidance from the experts and to be specialized in a particular subject. He guided students to set a goal in life to have a bright future.

The guest of honour, Mamachan M, PTA president, St Philomena PU College, Puttur said that the students should work hard to fulfill their dreams as well as the dreams of their parents.

The co-ordinators of the Career Guidance Cell - Supreeth K C, department of Biology, Raviprasada B G, department of mathematics, and Rohit Kumar T, department of Physics organised the programme.

Rohit Kumar T, department of Physics, welcomed the gathering. Ravi Prasad, department of mathematics proposed the vote of thanks. Supreeth K C, department of biology compered the programme.
