Puttur, Dec 3: Lenzil D'Souza (II PCME 'E') and N S Ashwath (II PCME 'E') of St Philomena PU College, Puttur bagged second prize in the Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt Working Model category Region 2 in 'SSTH Grand Finale'. The competition was held at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management on November 26. The students were awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 9000.
The students were guided by Sumana K, dept of Kannada and Bharath G Pai, dept of Statistics - convenors of Performing Arts Association.
The correspondent, Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, the campus director, Fr Stany Pinto and the principal, Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta congratulated the students.
