Dubai, Aug 26: Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC), an entity that is registered with Community Development Authority (CDA), UAE, Government of Dubai, UAE has successfully organized a summer camp on August 21 at Lavender Hotel, Al Nahada-1, Dubai.
The event organizers announced the programmr through social media, Overwarming responses were received and a healthy number of students from Grade 5th to 9th Grade had participated the event & gained vital knowledge on various topics from the experts.
The primary purpose of the camp was to educate young minds, to gain confidence, to understand their responsibility, to develop creative skills, build fraternity and strengthen the bond in expat-Indian community residing in the UAE. All these skills are necessary to lead the path of a healthy, productive life.
The knowledge sharing session was started by bestowing the glimpses of rich Indian History by Nasir Shaikh.
Dr Hafsa Qadir, GP, from M/s PRIMECARE SPECIALTY CLINICS LLC, Dubai, gave talk on Health and Hygiene and stressed importance of personal hygiene, Good personal hygiene is one of the best ways to protect yourself from getting gastro or infectious diseases such as COVID-19, colds, and flu. Maintaining good personal hygiene will help prevent spreading diseases in the surroundings.
Dr Saleel Abdul Kalam, a specialist Physician from M/s Adam Medical Centre, Dubai, key speaker of the event gave a detailed talk on the major roleplay of Science and Technology in the medical field. Providing science education to the students is a considerable challenge in the role of assessment, how teachers are prepared for teaching science and where science education should start. These are questions with which we are concerned, but since the focus is on primary education it is important to have sound reasons for beginning science education at the very start of schooling. Dr Saleel clearly explained the above subject. Children actively participated in the event and frequently cleared doubts related to the topic.
Rizwan Ahmed, training coordinator at Numero Uno Training Consulting LLC Abu Dhabi, was kind enough to engage the kids throughout the session delivering entertainment with lots of fun, motivational, upholding the fraternity in the social community and with curriculum related games and topics.
Earlier Mohammad Shafi, MD, AK Building Contracting and David Williams, cluster manager, Lavender Hotel Al Nahda Dubai, inaugurated the programme in the presence of Naseer, representative of KSCC Dubai.
Rahil delivered a vote of thanks to event speakers, members in different task teams, sponsors for their support, the judges, volunteers and all who participated and helped to make the event a grand success.
In a closing Ceremony witnessed the guests Abdullah Hussain Al Malik, Paul Prabahar, Group MD for Eurotech Gas Services, Naveel Rashid and Anwar, MD for Deen Business services appreciated the various social works conducted by KSCC on the various occasions and presented certificates to all the participants.
Naseer Abdul Khader, director of the programme, gave due credit to those who contributed to making the day a memorable one. Syed Iftikhar acted as the assistant moderator, while Rahil narrated the programme and gave the vote of thanks.
