Mangaluru: St Agnes Institutions organises Session for staff on inner journey

Mangaluru, Aug 8: An informative session was organised on July 26 for the staff of St Agnes High School, St Agnes Higher Primary School, St Agnes CBSE school and St Agnes Preparatory School on the topic 'Inner Journey' which was conducted by Sr Dr Doris D’Souza the former provincial superior Northern Province.

The session began with the topic on self-transformation and the various methods to achieve it was highlighted. To find the spirituality in oneself with the forces within us was stressed upon. An important advice was given to greet everyone by saying ‘Namaste’ which explained the meaning ‘I see God in you’. She stressed that every morning should begin with ‘Suryanamaskara’. The prayer should reflect on praise, thank and seek. To give respect to plants and animals was stressed upon. Briefly some of her life instances were also shared in this session. On the lighter note the session was zestful and appreciated by all.

The programme was hosted by teacher Philomena, Sr Maria Gracilda AC the principal welcomed the august gathering to the session. Vijetha proposed the vote of thanks by thanking one and all for their active participation in the session.

The management, the school administrator Sr Edna Furtado AC congratulated the Principal for organising this session and helping teachers to transform themselves to be successful in their teaching mission.
