Mangaluru, Jul 12: Once again, the academic year 2022-23 calls out a new brigade of Victorians to step to the fore as the new student council. At the investiture ceremony held on July 11, the college cabinet exuded the statement- Leadership Is The Capacity To Translate vision Into Reality. Real Leaders Are Ordinary People With Extraordinary Determinations.
The occasion was graced by the benign presence of Sr Violet Tauro AC, the joint secretary of Ladyhill Victoria Institutions. Principal Sr Ujvala A C and college coordinator Sr Supriya AC were also a part of the inaugural function along with faculty and students.
The programme began with an invocation followed by a graceful welcome. The ceremonial lighting of the auspicious lamp by the dignitaries initiated the inaugural ceremony. Principal Sr Ujvala administered the oath and newly appointed members received the sashes from the chief guest Sr Violet and badges from the college coordinator Sr Supriya.
The cabinet members pledged that they would carry out their duties with integrity, faith and excellence. The elected members of the Student Council of II PUC are:

The chief guest congratulated the newly elected members and their assistants. She emphasized on the need of grabbing an opportunity provided by the College to become a leader and to build a personality. She stated that leadership skills are crucial with life skills and also guided them to be leaders with radiant positive energy, to be proactive, approachable, accountable, decisive, to delegate tasks and bring laurels to college.
The programme culminated with the compere Fathima Zaima proposing the vote of thanks.
