Mangaluru, Jul 8: Farewell function for the final year students of BE, BArch, MBA, MCA and MTech was held on July 8 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru.
The function was presided over by Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University and president of A. Shama Rao Foundation. Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation was the guest of honour.
Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, in his presidential address advised the graduating engineering students to think positively, constructively and use the opportunities to achieve the goal in the future. Institute focused and provided the required academic, Skill development, Sports and other result oriented programs.
He advised the students should work hard to become the efficient engineers in the future.
Dr A Srinivas Rao, in his address congratulated the graduates, also wished placed students and a new placement milestone achieved by the college. he advised the students to make our country a super power by contributing well in their respective field in the future.
Dr Shrinivas Mayya D, principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology, in his address he motivated and guided the students for their future carrier. Dr Ajay, registrar development, Srinivas University and principals of sister institutes also present on the occasion.
Dr Shankar K S, head of the mechanical engineering department announced the winners of the project exhibition held in the college. Guests of the programme awarded the winners, also KSCST, VGST and VTU sponsored projects students and the guides.
Placement officer Dr Dheeraj H welcomed and introduced the guests. The programme was started with an invocation by Vaibhavi second year BE final year students were shared their valuable feedback and thanked the department, college and management for their continuous support. Prof Anant Kumar Kulkarni, Convenor of the programme and head of the mathematics department rendered the vote of thanks.
Dr Ambika Mallya, Prof Padmanayana anchored the programme.
