Mangaluru: Shree Devi Institute of Technology inaugurates 'Medha & Echelon 2.0'

Mangaluru, Jul 5: Shree Devi Institute of Technology, a unit of Shree Devi Education Trust, Mangaluru, inaugurated 'MEDHA & ECHELON 2.0', a technical, management and cultural fest for the undergraduate and postgraduate students on of July 2 in the college auditorium. Shreeja P K, delivery manager Infosys Mangaluru was the chief guest and Virat, director and proprietor of Virat motion picture was the guest of honour. Dr K E Prakash, principal and director of Shree Devi Institute of Technology, presided the inaugural programme. The convenor-Medha Prof Anand S Uppar and Convenor-Echelon 2.0 Dr Gayathri B J were present.

Shreeja P K addressed the student community and encouraged students to update with the current technical skills. The guest of honour, Virat motivated the students with his life journey and advised students to taste the journey of success.

Dr K E Prakash, director and principal, expressed his admiration for the chief guest and guest of honors achievements. He also thanked the student community and faculty for their contribution in making this event a success.

The masters of the ceremony, Likith and Prathiksha, carried the event and introduced the various invited dignitaries. Vismaya, final year, MBA student coordinator welcomed the gathering. Sharath, final year, from MCA proposed the vote of thanks. Faculty co ordinators professor Devika Shenoy and professor Saraswathi were present.

Various technical and management events took place after the inaugural ceremony. Students from different colleges participated in the fest. The winners of various events were awarded in the validatory ceremony. Medha overall champions was bagged by St Joseph Engineering College, Echelon2.0 overall winners was bagged by Team Starlord and overall runners was bagged by Team Falcon.
