Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE school conducts session on life reflection

Mangaluru, Jul 4: St Agnes CBSE school conducted a two-day session for both the Catholic and non-Catholic students of grade V to X on the topic A Day of Reflection on Life and God. It was held on June 23 and 24. The session proved to be successful, spiritually upholding the values and helped the students to prepare themselves well in advance for life challenges.

There were around seven resource persons who truly occupied the children with knowledge and self being. The resource persons were Fr Anil Kiran Fernandes, Fr Maxim Pinto, Fr Patrick D’Souza, Fr Praveen Aranha, Fr Niran Veigas and Br Nihar Fernandes from the SVD Community in Mangaluru.

The sessions proved to be effective with interactions, action songs, sharing of experiences, reflection and prayers. The sessions were concluded by Eucharistic celebration.

Some of the key highlights of the session were: Stop Existing and Start living with important values to remember that is Determination, Dedication and Discipline. A reflection on sincerity, truthfulness and hard work was pondered upon. The important aspects of time management and role of media, and much importance of the Environment in our life was truly educated to the students. The importance of God in our lives and spirituality was explained to the students.
The teachers of grade V to X also joined together to make these important days successful.

The management, the administrator expressed gratitude for the initiation and congratulated the principal and staff for giving such a wonderful reflection of life to students.
