Mangalore, Mar 14: To be able to participate in ‘Lagu Vishnu Yaga’ and ‘Shata Kalasha’ initiation being organized on the occasion of the completion of 350 years to the foundation of Sri Gokarn Mutt at Car Street here, Sri Vidyadhirajateertha Swamiji of Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Mutt arrived here on the evening of Sunday March 13.

He was extended a ceremonial welcome on his arrival at the welcome arch set up near Swadeshi Store, and brought to the Mutt in an impressive procession. At the Mutt, a religious meeting was presided over by the Swamiji.

Goa Chief Miniser, Digambar Kamat, entrepreneur, Srinivas Dempo, Canara Bank executive directors, K L Jagadish Pai and H S U Kamath, Bank of Baroda chairman and managing director, M D Mallya, and well-known philanthropist and entrepreneur, Dr P Dayanand Pai, were present at the dais.

The swamiji delivered benedictory address on the occasion.
