Mangaluru: Carmel School welcomes new administrator

Mangaluru, Jun 2: Carmel School Faculty welcomed Sr M Violette A C, new administrator and ushered in a new Academic Year with fortitude, perseverance and persistence on May 28 in the school auditorium.

The event commenced with the prayer service thanking the Lord for all the favours experienced during the vacation and also to pray for a fresh outpouring of graces and blessings for the year that lies ahead. Sr M Marie Lucy A C, the joint secreatry and superior of St Ann’s Convent, Sr Sarika, the principal of Carmel School, Sr Preena, the vice principal, Sr Shanthi Lavina, the coordinator were the dignitaries present on the dais.

“Dancing is surely the most basic and relevant of all forms of expression and nothing else can give an outward form of an inner experience,” The dignitaries were welcomed through the rhythmic steps of a dance.

“Where words leave off, music begins - Carmel Family greeted the New Administrator with a song and a verse. Sr Marie Lucy in her edifying message to the faculty underlined the ways and means by which a teacher can be an effective mentor, facilitator, active listener and a role model to their students.
She further emphasized on the traits of a teacher with concrete examples.

Sr Violette A C thanked the principal and the staff for the hospitable welcome accorded to her.

“Relaxing is good for your mind and it makes you feel calm and at ease.” Shilpa, Sachitha and Karunakar entertained the gathering through fun and games.

Jahnavi compered the programme, Cynthia Renjal welcomed the gathering and Liffin proposed the vote of thanks.
