Mangaluru: St Aloysius Gonzaga School holds Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony

Mangaluru, Mar 30: St Aloysius Gonzaga School held the Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony on March 29 in the presence of the parents and other dignitaries. Lion M Kavitha S Shastri, the chief guest, in her convocation address gave tips on good parenting. Her advice to parents was to love the child, spend quality time talking to the child and try to nurture any one particular skill in the child.

Rector, Fr Melwin Pinto SJ delivered the presidential address and added to chief guest’s tips and said that while communicating with a child, listening to the child’s talk is another important thing a parent has to do. The Principal congratulated these little graduates who were ready to move on to explore and accomplish yet other milestones in their lives. He also congratulated the teachers who played an important role in shaping these students. The most captivating moment of the ceremony was when the tiny tots dressed in graduation robes and caps were conferred upon with the title of the Kindergartner by the rector, Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ. The dignitaries felicitated the students with mementoes and diplomas of the two-year Kindergarten programme.

The pledge of the graduated class was then administered by the Principal. All 72 graduates sang a melodious song 'It’s a beautiful day' which left a smile on the face of the audience. Parent and student representatives shared their fond memories of Kindergarten with the audience. On this occasion vice-principal Laurel D Souza, teachers of Kindergarten were present. Aparna Suresh, KG coordinator welcomed the gathering and Veronica D Souza KG-II teacher proposed the vote of thanks. The graduation ceremony was compered by Gloria Misquith.
