Udupi, Mar 29: The Graduation Day of Kindergarten Section of St Mary’s English Medium (CBSE) School, Udupi was held on Tuesday, March 29 in St Mary’s Auditorium at 9:30 AM.
The dignitaries of the day, correspondent Fr Charles Menezes, the chief guest of the day Dr Jyotsna (KMC Manipal) an alumna of St Mary’s English Medium School, Udupi, principal Fr Johnson Sequeira, Fr Ashwin Aranha, assistant parish priest, Udupi Church, vice principal Rita Quadros, Benedicta Fernandes, secretary Parish Pastoral Council and Kindergarten coordinator Rajashree Nayak were welcomed by the school band.
Master of ceremony was conducted by Babeena Karkera and the description of the flag colours by Samanvitha of LKG.
The dignitaries marched with the band, followed by Principal declaring the Graduation Day Open. Invocation and Classical welcome dance were performed by L KG students. A welcome note was given by Vrushti Kini of L KG. Ms Rajashree, coordinator of Kindergarten Section gave a precise introduction of the chief guest.
Children were honoured by certificates distributed by the chief guest and the Correspondent. Ms Ashwini Fernandes administered the oath to the little graduates.
Shiloh of L KG congratulated the seniors with the best wishes. The teachers of Kindergarten sang a melodious wishing song. Ayush Bangera,
Devina Aranha and Lehaan of U KG expressed words of gratitude on behalf of graduates recollecting their golden moments in Kindergarten section of St Mary’s.
The chief guest Dr Jyotsna and the correspondent, congratulated the little graduates and encouraged their parents to motivate their little ones always. Vote of thanks was proposed by Bharathi Kunder followed by a cultural programme including dance by LKG and a gratitude song by UKG children.
Principal Fr Johnson Sequeira announced the dissolution of the Graduation Day. All rose for the National Anthem followed by the Band of Retreat.
