Mangaluru: Srinivas University celebrates International Day of Happiness

Mangaluru, Mar 28: With the blessings of A Shama Rao, founder of Srinivas University and under the guidance of Dr CA A. Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University, Mangaluru, the department of Cyber Forensics in association with the department of Physician assistant, Neuroscience, Emergency medicine and Virology and Immunology celebrated 'International Day of Happiness' on March 25.

The chief guest for the day was Dr Anil Kumar, registrar, Srinivas University and professor Devaseelan S, dean, Institute of Allied Health Sciences graced the occasion.

The programme began with invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song rendered by students and welcome address was given by Dilsa, first BSc Neuro science department. On behalf of the happiness day celebration, students of respective departments have taken initiatives on #ProjectJal and #ProjectVidhya where cement water bowls were kept inside the campus to facilitate arboreal animals to quench their thirst and students have distributed E-slates to the Ulaibettu Anganvadi kids. The programme in anganvadi also included lot of cultural activities like dancing, singing and games and so on. The programme was hosted by Shreya and Anusree and ended with vote of thanks given by Santhosh Babu.

Organizers of the programme were Varsha A C (assistant professor, Digital and Cyber Forensic) and Ayshath Safwana (assistant professor, Digital and Cyber Forensic).
