Puttur, Jan 24: Denis D’Souza, (81) the retired founder headmaster of St Philomena High School, Puttur passed away on December 31, 2010.

A condolence meeting will be held at the school premises on Wednesday, January 26 at 4.30 p m to pay homage to the departed soul. All the old students of the school, colleagues of the deceased, parents and admirers are cordially invited to attend the same, said headmaster of the school, Oswald Rodrigues.

    Belated condolences to all the family members of Mr. D’Souza. I cherish good memories of being associated with him when he was working in Abu Dhabi. May his soul rest in peace.

    I was waiting for this news. Finally some one took up the matter of having a condolance meet for this great soul. According to me all Educational institutions in Putur should have been closed on 31st December as mark of respect to this great soul. I sincerly pray Almighty to shower his kindness on the soul of this great Headmaster. Once again i salute you Sir. Condolances from the deep of my heart. Rasheed old student
