Udupi: 'G M Puraskar’ award conferred to academic achievers

Udupi, Mar 14: ‘G M Puraskar’ award conferred to achievers for the academic year of 2021-22, those who were achieved in curriculum and co-curriculum activities, was held at G M Vidyaniketan Public school Brahmavar here on March 11 and 12.

Educational advisor Prashanth Kumar P, the chief guest of the first day programme wished the children.

A retired teacher Dinakar Shetty was the chief guest on the second day. He was addressing the occasion said that, “Exam and competitions are not life. But these two are important to achieve in life. Effort is important along with goal. The parent should not be compare their children with others, in spite of that, they should recognize talent in them and encourage them. All privileges have been provided at G M campus and make use of those facilities.

Principal of the College, Brahmachari K N appreciated the president of the institution for honouring the excellence at G M Chathrachaya. After honouring the students, he said that, ‘others also should put effort to get awards in next year’.

School administrative board, Prakashchandra Shetty speaking after congratulating the winners and their parents said that, ‘I am happy today; Competitions will be tough in next year. So prepare for that and make plans before. Let parents be a model to children and encourage them to achieve’.

In the current academic year, students who have excelled in learning, spell be and sports were felicitated with trophy and prizes along with their parents.

Thara Prakashchandra Shetty, member of School administrative board, Pranav Shetty, principal of the G M Global School, S N Adiga, principal of the school management, Nagesh Nayak, Teachers-Parent association, Teachers, faculties and students were present on the occasion.
