Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School celebrates 'Women's Day'

Mangaluru, Mar 9: 'A woman is the full circle, within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.'

To show our appreciation and love to all our lady staff members, Women's day programme was held at LCS school grounds on March 8, 2022. The programme began by invoking God's blessings and placing the intentions before God.

The thought for the day read by Pradyun of class 6D was enriching as it gave a meaningful message. AdvaithU.P.of class 6C briefed the significance of the day. The culturalprogramme included a Women's day anthem which was sung by the students of class 4 and class 6. The students came up with an interesting skit which was a source of entertainment for the audience.

The principal said that the best gift one can give to women, be it mother or a teacher is offering prayer. He also appreciated the students and teachers for organizing the programme.

The students expressed their love and gratitude by offering hand-made greeting cards to the teachers.

The choir group along with the audience wished the birthday children. The programme concluded at 8.50 am It was compered by Jaydon Baptist and Mohammed Shehzad of class 6B.
