Mangalore, Jan 15: Mangalore South BJP MLA Yogish N Bhat who was elected unopposed as deputy speaker of the assembly on Monday was felicitated at district BJP office here on Friday January 14.
Speaking on the occasion Bhat said that being an RSS activist he had determination in his life to showcase excellence. The training by Sangha Parivar has contributed a lot for my success, he added.
He also said that he will make sincere effort to avail Rs 100 crore for the city corporation and added this is the right time for ruling and opposition parties to think about safeguarding the real meaning of democracy.
President of Dakshina Kannada unit of the BJP Padmanabh Kottari, district in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar, the state vice president of BJP, Sulochana Bhat, President of BJP committee Shreekar Prabhu, Mallika Prasad, Kumble Sunder Rao, Monappa Bhandary, Franklin Montero among others were present. Earlier Bhat was welcomed at the airport.
