Mangaluru: St Theresa’s School organizes Exhibition 'SPECTRA 2022'

Mangaluru, Mar 4: St Theresa’s School Exhibition 'SPECTRA 2022' was held on the March 5, 2022 in the school campus. It began with the inauguration of The Little Way Association and Bethany Champions which was inaugurated by Jasmine Moreiera the chief guest. Savita Albuquerque welcomed the chief guest, principal Sr Lourdes, vice principal Sr Caron, Teachers and parents.

The exhibition had stalls featuring various aspects of Science, Social studies and Moral Education. Various religious articles, charts working models were used to provide information. The students were very enthusiastic, creative and innovative in exhibiting their talents.

History/civics exhibition was conducted by the students of Std VI. They prepared models and charts on the topic they learnt in school. Topics like river valley civilization, Egyptian civilization, Early and Later Vedic period, Jainisim, Buddhism, Local-self government were presented.

The students came up with creative and unique way to exhibit and illustrate their ideas. Students made miniature fragurines out of clay.

The budding scientists of Std VII presented many creative ideas as exhibit. The exhibits were attractive and marvellous. Various working and still models on nervous system, excretory system, water cycle, and wind mill was exhibited.

The exhibition provided a platform to scientific experimentation and innovation to the future scientists. The enthusiasm and skill clubbed within the depth knowledge was commendable with an endeavor to promote scientific attitude among students.

Exhibition on working models on various concepts in physics were prepared by the students of Std. VIII. They prepared models on smoke detectors, burglas alarms, hydraulic bridges, and hydraulic lifts, hydraulic arms simple circuits, oobleck, rain detectors, tesla coil, wireless transmitters and many more.

Students were excited to present and explain the work done by the them. They got hands on experience about many concepts in physics and their practical uses in daily life. It was wonderful to see the efforts and enthusiasm of the students. The students worked in collaboration with the physics teachers of Std. VIII.

The parents and students of St Theresa’s School and St Sebastian’s School came to witness this exhibition. The art work and creativity of the students were appreciated.
