Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School commemorates National Science Day

Mangaluru, Mar 2: The National Science Day was celebrated in St Agnes CBSE School to mark the discovery of Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir Chandrashekar Venkata Raman on February 28, 1928.

To commemorate this day the school conducted various activities to all classes.
Grade 1-Growing medicinal plants.
Grade 2-Model of a clock.
Grade 3 -Modification of the plants.
Grade 4 and 5- Nutritious food preparing salad
Grade 6 -Models of water cycle and rain water
Grade 7 - Models of various human organ systems
Grade 8- Recycling of paper and fire extinguisher

The activities gave an opportunity to all the students to imbibe strong science base in themselves and learn profoundly by practicality.

School also organised a science exhibition program where in students presented differentmodels. Each detail of the models was presented by the students creatively. This educated them about the importance of Science and Technology. It was indeed a very knowledgeable day in which the main motive was to spread a message about the importance of science used in the daily life of the people.

A well-coordinated programme by the all science teachers. The management, the administrator congratulated the school for the encouragement given to future innovators and wished all a Happy National Science Day.
