Udupi: Mother Language day celebrated at SMVITM

Udupi, Feb 22: The extra-curricular committee of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management had organized a special musical program "Vande Mataram" on account of “International Mother Language Day" on February 22, 2022.

The faculty members and students rendered devotional, folk, and film songs in Sanskrit, Kannada, Tulu, Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, and Telugu languages.

Ananthesh Rao, coordinator, extra-curricular committee briefed the importance of Mother Language Day.

Secretary Ratnakumar, principal Dr Thirumaleshwar Bhat, vice principal Dr Ganesh Aithal, HoDs of various departments, teaching as well as non-teaching and staff members atended the event.
