Udupi: G M Vidyanikitean School holds kids' sports day

Udupi, Feb 18: A kids' sports day was held at G M Vidyaniketan Public School with much joy and enthusiasm. 

Sudheesh Kumar, Engineer  qualcomm technologies Bangalore was the chief guest for the kids' sports day programme. Addressing the students, he said, "School administration has successfully organized this sports day even during these difficult times. Children can achieve success by participating in sports."

Brahmachari K N, Principal wished all the students participating in the sports day events a grand success and congratulated the winners of Spell Bee contest.Nagesh Nayak, president, Parents - Teachers Association congratulated the school administration for creating the opportunities for the students  to showcase their talents.

Prakshchandra Shetty, president, School Management Committee thanked everyone for their efforts in making the kids sports day a grand success. He said, "G M Vidyaniketan Public School always supports co - curricular activities along with the curricular studies. In the upcoming year, we will be conducting all the co-curricular activities in a grand way," he assured.

Students of LKG to 2nd Std took part in various sports activities with enthusiasm. Various entertainment competitions were held for the parents also. Winners of the school level Spell Bee competitions were awarded prizes on the occasion.Tara Parkashchandra Shetty, member, management committee, Pranav Shetty, principal, G M Global School, parents and teachers were present on the occasion.
