Bangalore Archbishop Extends New Year Greetings to Guv, CM

Bangalore, Jan 2: Archbishop of Bangalore and president of Karnataka Bishop's Conference, met Governor H Bhardwaj at Raj Bhavan here on Saturday January 2 to greet him on the new year.

During the meet, Archbishop expressed his joy of meeting the governor on the first day of the year and  thanked him for joining in in the Christmas get-together at St Germains High School, recently. Governor told that he has got high regards for the Archbishop and always loves to seek his prayers and blessings.

Governor further told that church is a great source of spiritual strength. Lastly he told that he will always stand by the the minorities especially during the time of crises.

Later in the evening Archbishop Bernard Moras along with public relations officer and chancellor Fr A S Anthonyswamy and secretary Fr Prem of the Archdiocese greeted Chief Minister B S Yeddyuruppa at his
residence. Archbishop prayed for his good health and success in the new year.
 
Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, director general and inspector general of police along with I R Infant additional director general of police met the Archbishop at Archbishop residence and greeting new year wishes and seeked the blessings and prayer of his grace in the new year.
