Mangaluru: Webinar on 'Branding Yourself for Success' held at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Feb 7: The department of Business Administration, St Agnes College (Autonomous) in collaboration with Alliance University, Bengaluru organized a webinar on “Branding Yourself for Success” on February 7.

Dr Ajith Sharma, associate professor, Alliance School of Business, Bengaluru was the resource speaker. He said that brand image is necessary for each of us to reach a specific goal. He emphasized the importance of communication skills which can be achieved through reading, listening, writing, and discussion. He further spoke about how we can make vlogs using social media, which will help in knowing one’s own interested area. He discussed various ways of offline networking by attending relevant business meetings, seminars, and conferences. He highlighted the various facts to develop business plans, to understand entrepreneurial ventures, and encouraged to participate in various committees, clubs to gain confidence, leadership skills, and team spirit.

The webinar was held on the Zoom platform. A total of 150 students were present for the webinar. Sabina Dsouza, head of the department welcomed the virtual gathering.

Vivan Laster Pinto, assistant professor, BBA proposed the vote of thanks.
