Udupi: Valediction of Students’ Clubs held at St Mary’s CBSE School

Udupi, Feb 7: Valedictory ceremony of the co-curricular and cultural clubs was held at St Mary's English Medium (CBSE) School on January 5 at St Mary’s Auditorium. The representatives of various clubs such as NCC, Scouts & Guides, Eco club, Consumer club, Heritage club, Consumer club, Well-being club and YSM presented a brief report of the club activities held during the present academic year and exhibited their talents through Dances, Tableau, Skits, Action songs, Theme songs etc.

Chief guest of the programme Florina Roshana, the retired English teacher of St Mary's applauded the creative activities organized through various clubs and advised students to channelize their talents towards the well-being of the society and Nation at large. Correspondent Fr Charles Menezes in his presidential address encouraged students to be better human beings through the values learnt in these clubs. Principal Fr Johnson Sequeira in his message highlighted that the co-curricular clubs functioning at St Mary's aim at achieving the holistic growth of students.

Assistant parish priest Fr Ashwin Aranha graced the occasion. Head boy Pratham Shetty and head girl Sidra Arif were present on the stage. The programme was coordinated by vice principal Rita Quadros.

Dhyan of Grade 9 presented the formal welcome address. Adithya Y K of Grade 10 and Deona of Grade 9 anchored the programme. Marvis of Grade 8 proposed the vote of thanks.
