Mangaluru: Ladyhill English Higher Primary School celebrates Peace Week

Media Release

Mangaluru, Feb 7: Ladyhill English Higher Primary School had a Peace Week celebration to promote the concepts of peace, love, and harmony. It was a day for contemplation, remembrance and joy.

Teachers in grades 1 through 7 encouraged and assisted students in coming up with unique ways to commemorate the week of peace. It was an ideal opportunity for kids to participate in peaceful activities.

Writing peace slogans to making peace posters, writing about peace promoters and creators to discussing its relevance and holding an assembly promoting peace through prayer, quotes, action songs, and skits were among the peace activities carried out in the classroom.

The children learned that peace does not only refer to war and conflict, but also to fairness, justice, inner peace, environmental respect and much more during this week's peace activity.
