Mangaluru: BCom - Professional students felicitated at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Jan 29: Students of BCom (Professional Batch) who cleared their CA foundation exam in their first attempt were felicitated by the department of Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous). The event was held on January 19.

The department was joined by the accountant – a team of chartered accountants training the professional batch.

Sr Dr Venissa A C, principal, St Agnes College addressed the gathering on the occasion and congratulated all the students for their accomplishment. “Perseverance and hard work are very important while attempting an exam. The students of the professional batch must take up the exams with assurance and commitment,” Sr Dr Venissa said. The Principal later felicitated all the student achievers.

The journey of a ‘Chartered Accountant’ begins with ‘Hardwork’ stepping into everyday ‘Practice’ and learning with ‘Quality’ while staying ‘dedicated’ through the years. The students of St Agnes College have proven that they are on this journey with their college and with each other. More than 50 percent of aspirants from the College have set a milestone by clearing the exam in the very first attempt.

CA Daphny Stella D’Souza, guest faculty, St Agnes College addressed the gathering and congratulated all the students. She expressed words of gratitude and thanked all the faculty who were involved in training the students.

Nimitha K, HOD, department of Commerce and Sheryl Preethika, B Com professional co-ordinator and assistant professor, department of Commerce, St Agnes College were also present.
