Udupi, Jan 26: The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at St Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle on January 26.

Edward D'Almeida, alumni of the institution and wife Concepta D'Almeida hoisted the tricolour on the occasion.

John Castelino, teacher high school division welcomed the gathering. Herald Dsouza, Hindi teacher rendered the vote of thanks. Sudheer, Kannada teacher compered the programme.

Edward Larsen D'Souza, principal PU division presided over the programme. Floral Salutation was offered for the portrait of Dr B R Ambedkar.

Staff and students of the institution were present during the programme.
