Udupi, Jan 12: National Youth Day was celebrated at St Lawrence Composite PU College Moodubelle on January 12, on the occasion of the birthday of Swami Vivekananda.
Dr Gulabi Poojary, Kannada Professor St Mary's degree college was the chief guest for the programme.
Addressing the students she said, "Life of Swami Vivekananda is an example for all of us. Youths should inspire by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda."
Edward Larsen D'souza, principal presided over the program. Jacintha Nathalia Lobo, NSS officer welcomed the gathering. Sunita Kamath, a senior teacher in high school proposed the vote of thanks.
Joseph D'souza, the physical director gave an introduction about the program. John Castelino compered the programme.
Students and staff of the high school and college divisions were present during the programme.
