Mangaluru: Public Awareness at St Theresa’s School, Bendur

Mangaluru, Jan 7: St Theresa’s School organised a 'Public Awareness talk' to the students on January 7, 2022. The PSI of Kadri East, Police station – Gynan Shekhar made the students aware of the common Helpline No 112 that can be utilised by the people in times of emergency. He requested the students to make the helpline No 112 known among family members, friends and neighbours.

The students were given knowledge about the drug addiction and the consequence of it. He invited the students not to get carried away by strangers offering chocolates or drinks which may be drug induced.

He also told the children to return home after school with people who drop them to school in the morning, not with an strangers. Rajesh, the assistant teacher welcomed and thanked the PSI Gynan Shekhar for his thought-provoking talk.
