Mangaluru: Srinivas University inaugurates 3-day Orientation programme of PG programmes

Mangaluru, Jan 5: Srinivas University commenced the 2021-22 batch of Post graduate programmes of various colleges leading to degrees in the streams of MBA, MCA, MSW and MCom on January 3, 2022 with a three-day LEAD orientation programme with various events planned to add value and orient students to post graduate studies and develop them into successful students.

The orientation programme was held under the patronage of the chancellor, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao and pro- chancellor, Dr A Srinivas Rao. The three-day programme was inaugurated by the vice chancellor, professor (Dr) P S Aithal. In his inaugural address he spoke about Srinivas Group having its 21st Batch of PG students since the group started PG programmes in 1999. He advised students to take up challenges and encash opportunities to become successful.

Professor Vaikunt Pai, coordinator of MCA programme delivered the welcome address, professor Amith Menezes, coordinator, MBA Programme proposed the vote of thanks. Professor Keerthan Raj, dean, College of Management and Commerce, professor Subramanya Bhat, dean, College of Computer Sciences and Social Sciences and Dr Laveena D’Mello, dean, College of Social Sciences and Humanities spoke about the various advantages of the programmes. Professor Pavitra Kumari, dean, College of Aviation Studies was also present. Professor Panchajaneshwari M Achar compered the orientation programme.
