Udupi, Dec 20: The students of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal won awards in the 'VTU Single Zone Inter collegiate Yoga Championship 2021' held at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru on December 18 and 19.
Chandan K R of Third year Civil Engineering student won the third place in individual yoga competition and the team of students of the college won the 4th place in the group event.
Chandan K R is representing the University team (VTU) in the National level Yoga championship to be held on December 25-28 at Bhuvaneshwar, Odisha.
The management, principal, vice principal and physical education director congratulated the students for their commendable accomplishments.
