Mangaluru, Nov 8: An Online Training Session was organized for students by post graduate department of Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru in association with Asia’s First Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange on November 6, 2021 from 11.00 am to 12.15 pm. Sr Dr M Venissa A C extended her best wishes for the programme. Dolan Champa Banerjee HoD post graduate department of Commerce compered and moderated the whole session. Nelson Marwin Fernandes introduced the resource speaker Khaleelullah M H, Banking and Insurance trainer, United Training Services, India.
The session started with a short prayer. The objective of the training programme was to inculcate a habit of saving among students in higher education. The resource speaker Khaleelullah M H, Banking and Insurance trainer, United Training Services, India initiated the session with the history of BSE. He also emphasized the necessity of savings for individuals and the power of compounding. He also elaborated the concept of Mutual Funds.
The online platform was also open for questions. Students clarified their doubts. Nelson Fernandes, faculty proposed the vote of thanks.
