Karnataka's day's fresh Covid case tally falls below 400-mark

Bengaluru, Oct 21: Karnataka on Thursday, October 21 registered 365 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 8,988. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 210.

As many as 8 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Thursday, with Bengaluru Urban recording 4 deaths, the death toll in the state has risen to 37,984.

The state recorded 443 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 29,37,848.

So far, Karnataka has seen 29,84,849 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.31% while the case fatality rate for the day is 2.19%.

As many as 6,21,33,863 people have received vaccination so far.

    You seem to have forgotten your saint Doland Trump's accusation that India had fudged Covid numbers. Therefore actual number is much more than 4.5 lakhs, or was the saint lying? Don't say vaccine deaths were more, for Doland himself has taken mRNA jabs and urged all antivaxers to take it. All those Leary's prophecies/warnings/threats in support of Doland's second term turned out to be such a waste!
