M'lore: Raghaveshwara Seer Releases Kannada, Sanskrit Books at Town Hall - Pics

Mangalore, Oct 26: Raghaveshwara Bharati Swamiji of Ramachandrapur Mutt released Kannada book, “Karnataka Srimad Bhuvaneshwari Kathamanjari,” authored by Bandagadde Nagaraj at a programme held at the Town Hall on Monday October 25.

Sanskrit work “Panchakosha Vipanchik” on yoga shastras in Taittriya Upanishad and Veda Murthy K Narayan Shastry Buchchan unveiled the second volumes of his Kannada works, Srimad Vishnupurana comprising 6,500 Bhamini ‘shatpadis’ and Srimad Ganesha Purana comprising 7,400 vardhaka “shatpadis,” on the occasion.

Bandagadde Nagaraj is a Sanskrit teacher at Ganapathi Pre-university College here in the city.

Mangalore south MLA N Yogish Bhat presided.

Harikrshna Punaroor, the president of the book publisher committee, welcomed the gathering. G K Bhat Seraje, the general convenor of the committee, delivered the introductory address.

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, the president of Dakshina Kannada Kannada Sahitya Parishat among others were present.
