Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School Recognises the Fit India Movement 2.0

Mangaluru, Oct 2: FIT India Mission has conceptualized 'Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 to commemorate the 75th Independence Day - Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Nationwide campaign will be on the concept of 'Physical/Virtual Run' in continuum from August 13 to October 2 to encourage fitness and help all to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases etc. The concept behind this run is that 'It can be run anywhere, anytime!'.

Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 aims at 'Jan Bhagidari se Jan Aandolan'.

Fit India Freedom Run to culminate on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, with nationwide Fit India Plog Run.

To give a boost to this mission on Freedom Run, St Agnes CBSE school organised this event on September 29 with wholehearted participation of students, teachers, the administrator and the principal. A marathon race was organised for the students with the main lead of the administrator and the principal who inaugurated the run followed by the students holding the banner and slogans. It was followed by the flag bearers and squad wise racers.

A procession of students and teachers to promote importance of this run was performed. This event was organised by the PET trainers of the school.
