Udupi, Sep 20: Central and southern railways will be operating four special trains on Konkan Railway route. They are Pune Junction-Ernakulam junction weekly super special train which will be a fully reserved train. This train (no. 01197) will run every Saturday from Pune Junction beginning on September 25 till further orders.
The train leaves Pune Junction at 10.10 am every Saturday beginning September 25 and reaches Ernakulam Junction at 3.20 am on Mondays. From September 27, train No. 01198 leaves Ernakulam Junction every Monday at 6.50 pm and reaches Pune Junction at 11.35 pm. The train halts at Karwar, Kumta, Murudeshwar, Bhatkal, Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi and Mangaluru besides some other stops.
The bi -weekly super-fast special train between Pune Junction and Ernakulam Junction which is fully reserved, will begin running from September 29.
Train No. 01150, Pune - Ernakulam junction express will be operated on every Sunday and Wednesdays from September 29. From October 1, train No. 1149 will be run between Ernakulam and Pune Junction every Tuesday and Friday. For more information, www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in can be contacted, a release said.
