Udupi: MAHE felicitates rank holders of Manipal AGE students batch 2019-20

Udupi, Sep 13: The Academy of General Education, Manipal honoured the rank holders of AGE students of six affiliated colleges of Manipal 2019-20 batch, held at Dr TMA Pai auditorium.

Dr H S Ballal, pro-chancellor, MAHE presided over the felicitation programme. He commemorated the contributions of the founder of Manipal institutions. University congratulated the rank holder students, teachers and parents as well.

In his few words, “How can students in the future recognize themselves in the mainstream of society, who are educated from Manipal institutions". Ballal wished all of them.

Sathish Pai, vice-president, the managing director of Academy of General Education Manipal and executive chairman of Manipal Media Network Limited was present at the event.

Dr H Shantaram, administrator and secretary of the Academy of General Education Manipal delivered the keynote address. He expressed gratitude for the cooperation of teachers, the institution and the parents.

Lt Gen Dr M D Venkatesh, vice chancellor, Mahe University addressing on the occasion said, "Students must engage in continuous learning. He also spoke about the usage of technology in the present education system along with its limitations.

Dr Narayan Sabhahit, registrar of MAHE remembered the contributions of sculptor of Manipal Dr TMA Pai and congratulated the rank holders.

Dr Narayana Shetty, principal of Bhandarkar College, Kundapur read out the list of students who have obtained ranks in the 2019-20 University Examination.

Dr Radhakrishna Shetty welcomed the gathering. Dr Swami proposed a vote of thanks.

Dr Manjunatha Kotian, the principal, Sri Bhuvanendra College compered the programme.
