Mangaluru: Virtual CA students' National Conference 'ANARGHYA' held

Mangaluru, Sep 3: The virtual CA students National Conference - 'ANARGHYA' has received a registration of over 1,200 CA students from across the length and breadth of the country and was inaugurated at 2.00 pm on Friday, September 3.

Chief guest CA Jay Chhaira, board of studies (Academic) chairman launched the e-souvenir and also highlighted the role board of studies is actively updating the syllabus and scope of the profession post qualification is enormous.

Guest of honour CA K Jalapathi, SIRC chairman complimented the branch for the wonderful initiative and also expressed continued support from the SIRC to Mangaluru branch and emphasised the students to focus more on studies at the same time actively take part in these conferences to upgrade the skills and knowledge.

Guest of honour Vasanth Kamath, founder and CEO, Smallcase, informed his journey in the start up area and how finance professionals can play a major role in this segment and the dearth of professionals in the start up model in executive roles.

SICASA chairman Mangaluru branch CA Gautham Pai D welcomed the August gathering, Mangaluru branch chairman CA K Subramanya Kamath gave an overview of the conference and SICASA Mangaluru branch vice chairman Shreyash Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. Nerissa and Keith compered the inaugural ceremony.

CA Prasanna Shenoy, secreatry, CA Gautham Nayak, treasurer and CA Ananth Padmanabha, past chairman along with SICASA committee members were present on the occassion.
