Shakthi Education Trust Shakthinagar celebrates Independence Day

Mangaluru, Aug 15: “Be it the field of Agricultural produce, Fisheries, Space science and the Software, India has left no stone unturned post-Independence. The contributions in various fields has helped us to view our Nation at its Zenith. Today, India is recognised world-wide as we become self-sufficient in manufacturing our own vaccine for the COVID -19 pandemic. Let us prove that our nation is also capable leaving behind enmity, hatred and illusory and save our Independence by performing our duties faithfully” said Sri Kadri Anand, Former Director for Primary Education, Dept of Public Instructions, Government of Karnataka after hoisting the National Flag, on the occasion of 75th Independence Day Celebrations at Shakthi Campus.

“India's Independence Day is significant as it stands as a reminder of the sacrifices that many freedom fighters made to get independence from British rule. We don't have to limit our celebrations to 'Amrit Mahotsav' but the country needs to ensure that we meet our goals when we celebrate 100 years of India's Independence. No matter what the challenge is we should be ahead of the others. Hard work and determination of the citizens fuel India towards achieving its objective said Prof. T.Rajaram Rao in his Presidential Address.

Dr. K.C.Naik, Administrator, Chief advisor Ramesh K, Institute Development officer Prakyath Rai, Vidya Kamath G, Principal-Shakthi Residential School, Prof. Durgesh Bailoor, Neema Saxena, Co-ordinator Shakthi Pre-school, all teaching and non-teaching staff were present on this occasion.

Premalatha, Hindi teacher compered the show. Sharanappa, Kannada teacher led the singing troop with the National Anthem, Flag Song and Vande Mataram. Surekha and Aakash Shetty our Physical Directors along with Rajesh Kharvi our Swimming coach were the co-ordinators of the programme.
