Mangaluru, Mar 16: Always choose your passion, be it profession or academics. “Of course, in pursuing passion one has to make a lot of sacrifices and hard work in the beginning. But the thirst for learning and perseverance will make you reach greater heights eventually,” Civil Judge Sparsha D'Souza said.
Speaking at a felicitation ceremony organised by St Agnes College (Autonomous) on Monday, the newly selected Civil Judge Sparsha M D'Souza thanked the college profusely for its support in her journey.
Sparsha added that despite achieving higher milestones, every judicial aspirant must be a torchbearer of core values such as honesty, truthfulness, humility, hard work, and patience. “With the new position, I get to serve a larger society, which I must serve with more care, diligence, and upholding the core value that has guided me in this career so far,” she said.
A 2006 batch student of BSc (PCM) at St Agnes College, Mangaluru, advised parents of her junior counterparts to support them in fulfilling their dreams. “In my own case, it was my passion for law and judiciary that made me study more of it.
