Mangaluru: Six projects from SMVITM students selected for Anveshana - 2021

Mangaluru, Nov 7: Six innovative projects from students of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal qualified for the semifinals at state level project competition, 'Anveshana-2021' which is jointly organized by the Government of Karnataka, Synopsys and Agastya International Foundation. It is a state-level contest and the theme was 'United Nations Sustainable Development Goals'.

Anveshana is a Science and Engineering competition which will culminate in a fair where the students will exhibit their projects/models. This competition will primarily involve undergraduate Engineering students and underprivileged school going students where the students together will follow philosophies and practices of hands-on learning, research orientation, to make models based on Engineering-Science concepts. The engineering students will mentor school students in the creation of models while inducing knowledge and confidence in them.

Anveshana is one platform where engineering students could collaborate with high school students to create innovative models to address real-life problems. This has inspired true excitement and joy in the young entrepreneurs (students).

The management, principal and staff have complimented all involved in this activity for this wonderful achievement.
